A Beyblade is the tool in which every Beyblader uses to play the game. They are as unique as their owner and some who are unskilled do really stupid illegal modifications and abuse them. But to the skilled, they have made ways to customize them without illegal modifications to win. |
What Is A Beyblader?
What is a Beyblader you say? Pretty lame question to most people. But if you're new to the world of Beyblade then step into our Laundry room and hear the tale of what is a Beyblader.
What are they?
A Beyblader is a player of this game that is able to learn, experiment and master how a Beyblade operates. Not all of them are smart. In fact 90% of the worlds Beybladers are idiots!
Why are they important?
Because a Beyblade cannot win without a Beyblader. If it was just a Beyblade that wins for them then there would be no point in playing the game! Beybladers learn and master techniques or even create their own to alter a Beyblades performance.
How long does it take to be a good Beyblader?
Depending if you're a fast or slow learner the time it takes to be a good Blader varies. If you think you are good for like lets say, a month later, then you would probably be a laughing stock. Other Beybladers who've been playing for nearly 2-3 years don't think this way but they do possess the knowledge of one. Keeping in mind that even the advanced players keep on learning as well. And most of us screw up in a battle but that's ok because nobody's perfect!

Beyblade History
Beyblades are originated from a famous top that were known to be played by both adults and children. These were called "Beigomas" and existed since the 17th century. The first ever Beigomas were spiral sea shells filled with sand then eventually created by lead.
Since these were created they have been a really big hit to Japan and the world, One example of the beigoma is on the picture above or in Titanic movie where the scene is set on the docks with a 7-9 year old boy playing one by himself. Many schools in Japan held tournaments, After world war 2 they began to loose their popularity and production of beigomas in businesses dropped.
It was then in 1995 that Takara also known to be the BBA created the Gyro Beyblades and Old School Beyblades to revolutionize the famous beigomas. Since then they have been renamed "Beyblades" with new high tech shooters we all use today.
Beyblades have been so successful that production started to fly straight up. Beyblades are now successful and a really popular game as well as the anime cartoon that captured the fighting spirits of people that will carry out beyblade through history again!.
